Replace Roof Top Unit (RFU), Blower Assembly, and Heating Coil

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this contract to replace a Roof Top Unit (RFU), blower assembly, and heating coil at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the installation of a fully operational HVAC system that meets the facility's needs, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide supervision, crane, labor, all materials, equipment, and perform testing to install a fully operational Roof Top Unit (RFU) and replacement blower assembly and heating coil.

Specific tasks include:
1. Lock out tag out utilities;
2. Remove existing unit;
3. Place new unit on roof;
4. Tie in all new utilities including VFD;
5. Hook up Siemens controls and VFD then tie into EMS;
6. Build or modify existing graphics;
7. Write new programming;
8. Install new piping, heat trace, insulation, metal jacket, and ductwork;
9. Install new duct smoke detectors and provide written test results;
10. Remove lock out tag out and start up and test;
11. Water and air balance and provide a written report;
12. Test all components for proper operation and report results to the VA Representative;
13. Remove old unit and construction materials from VA property.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center located in Bonham, Texas.
