Replace Roof Building 797

Background
The solicitation is for the replacement of the shingle and flat roof of Building 797 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The intention is to obtain supervision, expertise, labor, materials, and equipment for the project.

Work Details
The detailed requirements include removing existing membrane roof and insulation, replacing the flat roof section with a modified bitumen roofing system, removing and replacing roof drain strainer assemblies, removing and replacing skylights and wind-driven turbine exhaust ventilators, installing new roof curb caps, removing existing asphalt shingle roof from Building 797 and attached walkway, installing an architectural single roofing system, reattaching all lighting protection, and installing a roof information placard inside the telecom room 016. The contractor is required to make a site visit, perform work in a professional manner adjacent to a medical facility, coordinate work schedule with the contracting officer's representative, have all materials on-site prior to commencement of work, install all materials according to manufacturer’s instructions, and coordinate all work and schedules with the contracting officer's designated representative and the building occupants.

Period of Performance
The contract completion date is 180 days after award.
