Background
The project, titled 'Project No. 619A4-23-101 - Replace Repair Roofs for Buildings 4, 15, 90, and 93', is issued by the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS-East).
The mission of CAVHCS-East is to provide high-quality health care services to veterans.
The goal of this contract is to address roof deficiencies identified in the 2016 and 2021 Facilities Condition Assessments (FCA) for the specified buildings, ensuring compliance with minimum code insulation levels and enhancing safety features such as fall protection.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, materials, and incidentals necessary to complete the following tasks:
1. Replace roofs for Buildings 4, 15 (Fire Department), 90, and 93.
2. Correct lighting protection systems in the aforementioned buildings.
3. Install fall protection systems in Buildings 4, 15, 90, and 93.
4. Replace all gutters and downspouts systems across these buildings.
5. Repair deteriorated wood fascia and trim work as needed.
6. Upgrade/repair roof insulation in all targeted buildings to meet a minimum code insulation level of R-30.
7. Refer to provided drawings and specifications for further details.

Period of Performance
The required period of performance will be 185 calendar days from the date of contract award or notice to proceed.
