Background
The General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing a request for quote for the replacement and installation of vertical blinds at the U.S. Attorney Office located at 100 Middle Street, East Tower, Portland, ME.

The mission of the GSA is to provide centralized procurement for the federal government, and this contract aims to enhance the office environment by updating existing window treatments.

Work Details
The contractor will provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to replace 149 existing vertical blinds.

The scope of work includes:
1. Remove and dispose of 149 vertical blinds;
2. Prepare the area to receive new blinds;
3. Furnish and install 149 new vertical blinds.

The specifications for the new blinds are as follows:
- Brand: Hunter Douglas Vertical Blinds;
- Control System: Cord/Chain Control;
- Control System Style: Rectangle;
- Material Type: VSCRII-Vinylscapes-Curves;
- Color: Off White.

Additionally, the contractor must field verify all vertical blind measurements prior to ordering.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
