The contract is issued by the Land Dominance Center at Fort Stewart, GA, with the goal of replacing outdated HVAC systems across multiple buildings. The agency aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of heating and cooling systems within these facilities, ensuring a comfortable environment for occupants while adhering to modern standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of existing HVAC systems (condensers, air handlers, and natural gas furnaces) in nine buildings (9105, 9111, 9120, 9121, 9122, 9123, 9124, 9125, and 10324). Specific tasks include:
- Demolition Work:
- Building No. 10324: Remove existing ductwork to access air handlers and natural gas furnaces; dispose of old units; replace wooden plenum box with insulated metal; install drywall in mechanical room; replace light fixtures with LED; update thermostats and wiring.
- Building 9105: Remove air handlers and furnaces; provide new gas cut-off valves; reuse existing aquastats and thermostats.
- Building 9111: Similar removal tasks as Building 9105 with reuse of thermostats.
- Buildings 9120-9125: Each building will undergo similar removal processes as above with reusing thermostats and vents.
- Building 9310: Remove light fixtures and electrical components as per drawings.
- New Work for Building No. 10324: Install new HVAC units with pre-charged freon; provide new line-sets and insulation; install metal stud framing for drywall in mechanical room; ensure compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations for gas lines and insulation.
