Background
The solicitation W912DS24B0020 is for the replacement of the Fire Suppression/Protection System in Building 1837 and related work at JBMDL. The work includes the removal of AFFF system, flushing, cleaning, removal and disposal of effluent from underground tank, draining, removal and disposal of concentrated AFFF from pipes and storage tank, final record drawing submission, and optional removal and disposal of additional effluent and concentrated AFFF. The contract will be awarded based on the responsible and responsive bidder with the lowest total price for all listed items.

Work Details
The work includes all plant, labor, and material for the replacement of Fire Suppression/Protection System in Bldg 1837 as outlined in plans and specifications except for Items listed. It also involves the removal of AFFF system from Bldg 1837 as outlined in plans and specifications except for Items listed. Additionally, it includes flushing, cleaning, removal and disposal of effluent from an underground tank as described in the plans and specifications. Estimated quantities are provided for each task. The final record drawing submission is also part of the work. There are optional tasks for the removal and disposal of additional effluent from an underground tank as described in the plans and specifications, with a 300-day option period to exercise these tasks.
