Background
The Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System is seeking a general contractor to replace the fire alarm systems in Buildings 14, 15, 65, 68, 88, 90, and 93. The existing fire alarm systems are outdated and pose significant risks to the safety of patients and staff due to an obsolete fiber optic network and unserviceable components.

This project aims to upgrade these systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and improve emergency communication across the campus.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and perform all necessary work to replace the fire alarm systems in the specified buildings. The scope includes:
- Complete replacement of existing fire alarm systems in Buildings 14, 15, 65, 68, 88, 90, and 93.
- Adherence to project drawings and specifications.
- Addressing issues related to the current fiber optic network that connects all nodes on campus.
- Ensuring that all installations meet applicable standards set by authorities such as NFPA and OSHA.

Period of Performance
