Background
The solicitation is for a construction project titled 'Replace Electrical Circuits and Retrofit Lighting.' The work is to be performed at Bldg. 7985, a single-story facility on North Fort, built in 1945, which currently houses the USACOE Forestry Section.

Work Details
The contractor is required to replace electrical circuits and retrofit lighting in the facility. This includes repairing all fluorescent lighting by LED retrofit kits with specific technical requirements such as Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of 4000K, Color Rendering Index (CRI) of at least 80, and Energy Star or Design Lighting Consortium (DLC) listing. Additionally, the contractor must remove and replace interior components of recessed fixtures, install new surface-mounted raceways, run new conductors, and ensure compliance with NFPA 70 & 70E standards. The contractor is also responsible for providing an Arc Flash Hazard Final Report per NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584-2004a standards.

Period of Performance
The performance period for the contract requires the contractor to commence work within ten calendar days after the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete all work within 180 calendar days after the date of issuance of the NTP.
