Replace Building 65 Air Compressors (UPDATE)

Background
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL/RAVZ) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has identified a critical need to replace the existing air compressor system located in Building 65. The current system, consisting of two Ingersoll Rand Nirvanna air compressors and associated dryers, is approaching its end of service life and has experienced multiple failures, leading to costly repairs and significant disruptions to facility operations.

This project aims to mitigate operational risks by replacing the aging equipment with a new, fully redundant, and reliable system that serves critical operational and research-specific equipment within the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver two (2) new oil-free rotary screw air compressors and two (2) new air dryers as part of the turnkey replacement of the Building 65 air compressor system. The scope includes:
- Disconnection, removal, and disposal of two existing Ingersoll Rand Nirvana air compressors (Model: IRN100H-CC) and associated dryers (one Ingersoll Rand air dryer Model: TS11A and one Zeks air dryer Model: 800HSFA400).
- Installation of all associated piping, electrical connections, and control systems required for full operational capability.

The contractor must ensure that at least one compressor remains operational throughout the project execution to minimize downtime.
