DESCRIPTION

The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment for the Replace Boilers 1 thru 3 at FCI Schuylkill. The project includes the removal/ replacement of three Boilers to include pumps and all associated piping to make a fully functional system. The new boiler should be high efficiency dual fuel (natural gas/#2 fuel) condensing or fire-tubed not to exceed the PA DEP requirements of NOx3 (below 30ppm), #2 Fuel Oil (below 90 ppm). The contractor is responsible for verifying if the current gas, electric, water, communication, HVAC, etc. supplies are adequate for the new boiler. The contractor will be responsible for sizing the boilers to match existing equipment along with the newly designed Hot Water Loop indicated on the Construction Documents Specifications/Drawings dated 06-04-2021. The new boilers must provide a completely balanced and operational boiler system. Contractor will upgrade (if required) the service in addition to, obtaining dimensional data for installation of the new boiler.
