Repairs and Upgrades of Propeller Electronic Valve Housings (EVH) Components   3

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) KC-130J Program Office (PMA-207) awarded a sole source delivery order to Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation (HSC) under BOA N0038322GZ901. This order provides the supplies and services necessary to repair and upgrade eight (8) Electronic Valve Housing (EVH), P/N 826620-2 to a 826650-2 configuration, in support of NP2000 propeller installation on a United States Navy K/C-130T aircraft.

This sole source acquisition was procured pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) (formerly 2304(c)(1)), One Source or Limited Sources. HSC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the NP2000 Propeller System and is the only source with the proprietary technical data, requisite knowledge, experience, equipment, facilities, and expertise with the subject propeller system to provide the required component repairs and upgrades necessary to meet the requirement. At this time HSC is unwilling to sell the required proprietary information to the Government or Industry needed to perform this effort.
