The suspense for RFI's is 26 May 21, 1500 MDT. We cannot guarantee that RFIs submitted after this suspense will be answered before the proposal due date of 11 Jun 21.

This is a single construction project for the airfield at CAFB, NM with two phases. In phase one, the vendor will reconstruct sections T17A and T18A of Taxiway Mike. The reconstruction of Taxiway Mike includes the removal of 102,000 square feet of 3" Asphalt, to replace with 102,000 square feet of new Portland Cement Concrete (PCC). This will also include slab replacement of adjoining hot brake pad and joint seal repair. In phase two, the vendor will reconstruct sections T12A and T13A1 of Taxiway Delta. The reconstruction of Taxiway Delta includes the reconstruction of 25,000 square feet of PCC in section T13A1, slab replacement, and joint seal repair. Additionally, 75,000 square feet of 4" Asphalt shall be removed and replaced with PCC in section T12A.

Taxiways Mike and Delta are located on the same airfield of CAFB, NM. Taxiway Delta covers 100,000 square feet and Taxiway Mike covers 102,000 square feet. Stemming from a 2015 Pavement Condition Index (PCI) Report, it was determined that sections of Taxiways Mike and Delta are in need of repair.
