REPAIR SERV ICES FOR THE UMTE PROGRAM   3

Background
This contract is issued by the Department of the Air Force, specifically the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill AFB, Utah. The purpose of this contract is to provide repair services for the UMTE program. The sole source award has been granted to Microwave Power Products, Inc (Cage Code 99313), which specializes in manufacturing electronic components.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all facilities, parts, materials, equipment, and services necessary to inspect and restore the Electron Tube (NSN: 5960-01-507-9112, PN: VKX-7809M) to a serviceable condition. The work consists of two main efforts: Test, teardown, and evaluation (TT&E) or TT&E followed by repair. The contractor must perform visual, mechanical, and electrical testing of the end item and identify any components requiring repair or replacement. All repaired items must meet original specifications and be returned in a serviceable condition. Specific requirements include:

- Test, teardown, and evaluation of the Electron Tube.
- Repair or replacement of all failed parts and components.
- Compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) requirements.
- Adherence to military packaging standards as specified in MIL-STD 2073-1 and other relevant military standards.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract extends until June 22, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the contractor's facilities as designated in the contract.

Bidder Requirements
The contractor must comply with specific military packaging requirements including adherence to AFMC Form 158 and various military standards such as MIL-STD 2073-1 for military packaging. Additionally, any proposed changes to subcomponents must be communicated through an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process.
