The 911th Airlift Wing, Pittsburgh Air Force Reserve Center (AFRC) has a Design-Build requirement in Coraopolis, PA.
General Information:

This project is for a Base plus 10 Options. For the Base, after approval of design and work project, the project will entitle full-depth pavement repair along the majority of the designated project area, including replacement of the existing storm drain system. This work entails removing the existing asphalt, subbase, and unsuitable subgrade, replacing it with a new drainage layer and underdrains, and then reconstructing the roadway with a new subbase and asphalt surface. The project also includes regrading sections of Sabre Street between buildings 129 and 130 to improve drainage and installing new catch basins tied into the existing storm drainage system. Ancillary work includes adjusting manhole elevations, asphalt sealing, parking block replacement, line painting, and traffic protection, including the addition of bollards around equipment adjacent to Sabre Street at Building 129.

There will be ten (10) Options on this project that will include an Option for Relocating Primary Electric Duck-Bank, an Option for Repairing Storm Drain Cross Connection, and Options for asphalt mill and overlay and seal coating work in adjacent areas.
The period of performance will be 263 after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction (FAR 36.204(f)): Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

The acquisition will be procured as 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. All responsible Bidders are encouraged to participate. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with Small Business Standard of $45M.

Solicitation FA671225B0003 as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) is attached. All interested parties are responsible for monitoring this website to ensure they have the most current information (i.e. Amendments) on the solicitation. Requests for any hard copies will not be honored.

Site Visit: An organized site visit will be held at the project location. See solicitation for details. In order to attend the site visit, you are required to pre-register. Attendance at the site visit will be limited to no more than two (2) representatives per company. The site visit will be held for the purpose of providing contractors with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the site which may be helpful in the preparation of offers. Attendance at this site visit is not mandatory for offer submission; however, failure to visit the site will not relieve or mitigate the successful contractor's responsibility and obligation to fully comply with the terms, conditions and specifications contained and/or referenced in this document. Telephone requests for information will not be accepted or returned.
