Repair Roof - Building 250   3

Background
The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is requesting a proposal for the Repair Roofing - Building 250 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL. The project is a total 100% Small Business Set-Aside with a magnitude between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required.

Work Details
The project consists of repairing and renovating 4,800 square feet of an existing low-slope single-ply Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roof over the two low bay areas of Building 250 on the Rock Island Arsenal. The work includes removing existing EPDM roofing, insulation, roof drains, and associated materials.
New roof trusses will be added on top of the existing sheathing to correct the slope of the roof.
New roof drains, overflow drains, insulation, cover board and EPDM membrane will be installed.
The new primary roof drains will be tied into the existing primary drainpipe system.
The new overflow drains require a new overflow drainpipe system to transfer water out of the building.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this project is 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Building 250 located at the US Army Garrison, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois.
