Background
The project purpose is to repair and repave the parking lots at Ebenezer Baptist Church and Fire Station. The paving has been in place for nearly 20 years which is beyond the life cycle for asphalt. The work shall consist of applying a preventive maintenance action to the parking lot surface that includes minor spot repairs (patching), crack sealing and the application of a surface seal or non-structural overlay at Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to perform the repair and rehabilitation of the asphalt pavement at several parking areas within Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta, Georgia. Work activities include removing damaged and deteriorated asphalt pavement, restriping parking spaces, installing accessible parking symbols, removing and installing wheel stops, removing and installing bollards, and placing and maintaining temporary traffic control. The contractor is responsible for understanding, applying, and obtaining the necessary permits required by the City of Atlanta to perform the work of this project.
