Background
The HH-60G helicopter conducts combat search and rescue operations, as well as other military operations such as civil search and rescue, emergency medical evacuation, disaster relief, international aid, and counter drug activities. The Control Display Unit (CDU) is a vital part of the aircrew’s mission, enabling them to scan and search an area of interest and provide messages in search and rescue missions.

Work Details
The Performance Work Statement (PWS) describes the services required for the repair of the HH-60G Control Display Unit (CDU), NSN 5895-20-010-9425GC, P/N 100-602653-000. The services include functional testing, inspection, repair or overhaul actions to ensure the CDU is in serviceable condition. The Contractor is responsible for fault isolation, repair and testing of unserviceable assets, maintaining data and completing data deliverables within negotiated timeframes and quality standards.
The period of performance consists of a basic one-year period after contract award plus four one-year ordering periods. The contract type is a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type for all ordering periods. Repairs shall be inducted within three days of receipt of the repairable asset; Teardown, Test and Evaluation (TT&E) shall be completed within 30 days after induction; repairs shall be completed within 90 days after completion of TT&E. The Contractor shall respond to priority requirements such as MICAPs and Surges within one business day with the estimated delivery date of the item. Reporting production using the Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAVAF) system by maintaining current inputs is required. The Contractor shall provide data on the actions conducted for each unit as defined by the Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL). The Contractor shall report in CAV-AF daily or as actions occur. The Contractor shall have no more than one valid PQDR per contract year.
