Solicitation for the Repair of the KC-135 Attitude Indicator

Background
The solicitation is for the repair of the KC-135 Attitude Indicator. The work involves providing a proposal to the PCO outlining the cost of man hours and parts required to complete the action. The contractor shall execute Over and Above at the request of the PCO in specific areas, such as surge operations, missing components, and proposals. The tasks involve executing Over and Above at the request of the PCO in specific areas, completing a supply discrepancy report for missing parts, ensuring end items are permanently marked with part number, serial number, and Contractor's identification, ensuring all assets subject to marking are marked and recorded in the DoD IUID Registry, performing quality acceptance of each end item prior to packaging and transportation, packaging items according to AFMC Form 158 requirements, initiating a Supply Deficiency Report upon receipt of assets received in other than contracted packaging requirements, ensuring appropriate tags are attached showing the actual condition of each item shipped, ensuring shipments are by Commercial Bill of Lading unless coordinated by DCMA, maximizing the use of reusable containers by reclaiming and reusing containers marked as 'Reusable Container', manufacturing or procuring containers as per terms of the contract, packaging any Government-owned material being reclaimed by which is excess to contract fulfillment terms.
