Repair of Environmental Digital Sensor /Controller for the F-16   4

Background
This is a sole source solicitation for the repair of the Environmental Digital Sensor/Controller for the F-16 aircraft. The solicitation is for a requirements type contract and is issued by the Department of Defense (DOD). The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all material, plant facilities, labor, parts, equipment, and expertise necessary to complete the repair work described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall accomplish necessary packing, preservation, and packaging and return the items in completely serviceable condition. The work also includes a Pre-Award Survey and IPE for each CLIN. Copies of Tech Order Manuals may be requested, and the contractor is responsible for providing a fully executed copy of the DD Form 2345 with all requests for Tech Orders.

The contract will have a one-year basic period with four one-year option periods. Delivery of all repaired assets is required within 45 calendar days after receipt of order or assets. The solicitation also includes details on Over and Above Work Procedures, Limitations of Liability, Inspection/Acceptance Report requirements, Quality Assurance standards, and transportation details.

The contract will have a one-year basic period with four one-year option periods.
