Repair of Dimmer Switch, Lamp Control, Transformer, Circuit Card Assembly

Background
The Air Force intends to award a Sole Source contract to Symetrics Industries, LLC, DBA Extant Aerospace, for the repair of various electrical components and assemblies. This contract is issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The goal of this contract is to ensure the maintenance and repair of critical components necessary for operational readiness.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, parts, facilities, and equipment necessary to disassemble, analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and test assets, assemblies, and/or parts. Services include alignment, adjustment, calibration, testing, movement, storage, and reporting status related to the repair and return of items.

The work includes ensuring that repaired items meet OEM specifications validated by special Test Equipment final acceptance tests. Any component parts failing inspection or deemed unserviceable must be replaced at the Contractor's expense. This encompasses replacements due to catastrophic failure or normal deterioration.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a multi-year period consisting of a 5-year base period followed by five 1-year ordering periods.
