Description

Repair of C130 Altimeter Encoder

NSN: 6610-01-358-7582 P/N: 518-28007-923

Background
The United States Air Force is conducting market research to identify potential repair sources for the requirements of repairing a C130 Altimeter Encoder. This is not a solicitation for proposals, but rather a request for information to determine the best future acquisition strategy for this procurement. The 422nd Supply Chain Management Squadron located at Tinker Air Force Base is leading this effort.

Work Details
The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all required labor, material, facilities, and equipment to accomplish repair, test, preservation and packaging, and return to a completely serviceable unit. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, long-lead parts procurement, reparable forecasting, obsolescence issues and delivery of serviceable assets.

Place of Performance
The repair work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base and potentially other locations as per the needs of the United States Air Force.
