Repair of B-2 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) & Attitude Motion Sensor Set (AMSS)

Background
The United States Air Force, specifically the Supply Chain Management Squadron located at Tinker Air Force Base, is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the repair of the B-2 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Attitude Motion Sensor Set (AMSS).

The goal of this effort is to determine if the requirement can be competitive or set aside for small businesses. This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) does not constitute a Request for Proposal and indicates that no contractual commitment will exist based on this market research. The information gathered will help establish the best acquisition strategy for this requirement.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment to accomplish the following tasks: repair, testing, preservation, packaging, and return of units.

Responsibilities include supply chain management, logistics support, forecasting of parts, procurement of long-lead parts, reparable forecasting, addressing obsolescence issues, and ensuring delivery of completed assets. The contractor must be capable of handling the repair requirements associated with specific part numbers and NSNs as identified in the solicitation.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base.
