Repair of B-2 Electro Mechanical Actuator

Background
This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is issued by the United States Air Force to conduct market research aimed at identifying potential sources for the repair of B-2 Electro Mechanical Actuators. The goal is to determine if this effort can be competitive or set aside for small businesses.

The 423rd SCMS Supply Chain Management Squadron at Tinker Air Force Base is leading this initiative, which seeks input from various types of businesses, including Small Disadvantaged Businesses, 8(a) businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone Small Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses. This SSS does not constitute a Request for Proposal or indicate any contractual commitment from the government.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to accomplish the following tasks: repair, testing, preservation, packaging, and return of the B-2 Electro Mechanical Actuator to a unit. Responsibilities also include supply chain management, logistics coordination, forecasting of parts, procurement of long-lead parts, reparable forecasting, addressing obsolescence issues, and ensuring timely delivery of completed assets.

The specific repair requirements are associated with certain part numbers and NSNs that will be detailed in attachments.

The work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base.
