The Government is offering a site visit opportunity on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 9:00 AM CST. The site visit is encouraged but not mandatory. In order to attend the site visit, your team must contact the POC to inform them of your intent to attend NLT 2:30 PM CST on Monday, March 25, 2024. If you do not contact the POC by 2:30 PM CST on Monday, March 25, 2024, you will not be able to attend the site visit. All additional RFIs must be submitted NLT 11:59 PM CST on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

IAW FAR 36.204(f) - The range of magnitude for this procurement is between $1,000,000.00 and $5.000,000.00.

All specifications and drawings will be available upon request and will be sent via DoDSAFE.

The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools necessary to repair distressed concrete slabs, seal and reseal cracks in the concrete, and reseal all concrete joints on the Flightline Road at Columbus Air Force Base. The Contractor shall perform all work according to the Statement of Work (SOW), the Concept Design Drawings, and all related AF requirements, codes, and references.

Background
The contract involves the repair of distressed concrete slabs, sealing and resealing cracks in the concrete, and resealing all concrete joints on the Flightline Road at Columbus Air Force Base. The Contractor is required to perform all work according to the Statement of Work (SOW), the Concept Design Drawings, and all related AF requirements, codes, and references.

Work Details
The scope of the project includes verifying correct locations and dimensions of distressed slabs, spall repairs for corners, demolition of existing concrete pavement, material lab and testing work by an approved commercial testing laboratory, excavation and backfilling for slab repairs, compacting subgrade and limerock base course, placing new dowel and tie bar reinforced concrete slabs, cleaning existing sealant and debris out of all existing concrete joints, resurfacing damaged concrete curb sections along Flightline Road, restriping existing pavement markings, removing existing tile Air Force wings emblem located in front of Base Ops building and installing a new marble inlay.
The project also involves coordinating with Base CE, Base Operations and Aircraft Maintenance to determine the best phasing of construction to allow for aircraft operations.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.
