Repair Fire Water Line for Bldg. P-801

Background
The project titled 'Repair Fire Water Line for BLDG. P-801' is issued by USAG Humphreys. The goal of this contract is to repair the fire water line for Building P-801, ensuring compliance with specified standards and safety regulations. This solicitation is directed exclusively to existing General Construction Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (MAIDIQ) contractors.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, and any other resources necessary to accomplish the scope of work as indicated in the drawings and specifications. The work includes:

1. Removing AC pavement;
2. Removing backfill soil;
3. Removing drop rod foundation;
4. Providing a new fire water line with fittings;
5. Providing warning tape;
6. Providing a new concrete thrust block;
7. Replacing AC pavement;
8. Providing structural backfill;
9. Replacing concrete pavement;
10. Replacing solid sodding;
11. Providing shoring work;
12. Repainting pavement marking;
13. Providing a post indicator valve with guard post;
14. Replacing drop rod foundation;
15. Providing a cathodic protection system & test station;
16. Conducting a topographic survey before & after construction.

Additionally, mechanical work includes replacing existing sprinkler pipe with associated accessories, and architectural work involves removing and restoring the existing concrete slab floor with weld wire fabric for mechanical works.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within calendar days and complete it within calendar days after receiving award, notice to proceed.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at USAG Humphreys.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be existing MAIDIQ contractors and are strongly recommended to attend a site visit prior to submitting proposals.
