Repair Elevator Bldg 485

**Amendment** May 22nd 2023 This amendment is to include that there will be a site visit on May 31 at 9:00 CST at Tyndall AFB to view the elevator in building 485. Please fill out attachment "Base Access Request EAL" and return to the POC NLT may 30th through email. The main POC for this site visit is SrA Diana Alen, phone:850-283-8686, email: diana.alen@us.af.mil. The Contractor shall provide all management, labor, safety, tools, supplies, materials, storage, equipment, personal protective equipment and transportation necessary to demolish, perform the removal and replacement of the elevator controller, power unit, and all associated wiring and other subsystems necessary to ensure the elevator is updated to building code standards, using non-proprietary components located at building 485 on Tyndall AFB. The Contractor shall be responsible for all facets of the repair and replacement in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, Headquarters Air Force standards, instructions, and commercial practices, Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for work area cleanup, which shall result in a neat and professional appearance. Upon completion of work, the Contractor shall have restored the Bldg. 485 Elevator to full operability to include certification by a Qualified Elevator Inspector inspection.
