3rd GEN HASs: B1753, B1754, B1755, B1756, B1757, B1758, B1759, B1760, B1761 and B1762

1. 1. 1. Replace discontinued existing Hardened Aircraft Shelter (HAS) door motor controllers and safety switches (3P, 200AF, 600V) including cable, conduits, mounting rack, accessories and all connection appurtenances.
         • Hazardous Location Class I, Division 2 Explosion Proof (EP) type, NEMA7
         • Existing door motor: 480V, 3Ph, 11KW (15HP)
         • Explosion Proof type for all electrical materials
         • Verify the existing door motor controller sequence then time delay (5 sec) relay shall be included/installed in the new controller. The relays will hold the motor to start open or close about 5 sec warning notices, but the interior bell, exterior bell and beacon light shall be operated when the door motor close or open is pushed or selected the position without motor running.
         • Complete the new door control system to be usable/compatible sequence of operation with existing door motors and system.
         • Contractor shall verify existing equipment electrical/mechanical characteristic (HP, AMPS, KW, WATTS/VOLTAGE/PHASE), mounting methods, wiring methods and final connection methods prior to construction.
         • If required, replace existing circuit breakers, strobe light, bell, siren, relay box, limit switches and etc. to be compatible with new door motor controller system.
      2. Protect existing system in HASs.
