Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) North Texas Health Care System is seeking a contractor to perform minor repair and maintenance work on the walk-in freezer located at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center in Bonham, Texas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning of the freezer system, which is critical for maintaining food safety and storage for veterans.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, parts, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform preventive maintenance and minor repair work associated with the walk-in freezer system. This includes:
1. Resealing walk-in freezer panel seams utilizing butyl sealant;
2. Cleaning all evaporator coils;
3. Cleaning all condenser coils;
4. Inspecting refrigerant equipment and identifying any visible deficiencies;
5. Removing and replacing two thermostats;
6. Verifying proper freezer operation following maintenance activities;
7. Removing all debris generated from contractor operations and leaving the work area clean upon completion.

Period of Performance
All work shall be completed within 90 days of receipt of order, with services performed during normal working hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, excluding Federal holidays unless otherwise approved.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the requirements for a Veteran Set Aside (VSA). Personnel performing the work must be fully qualified and competent. The contractor must ensure that all employees or subcontractors have been screened by the Dallas VAMC Healthcare System and possess valid driver's licenses when driving on property.
