Repair 13.8kV Overhead Circuits 1E & 2E with Underground Electrical Infrastructure   2

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this pre-solicitation synopsis for W519TC-23-R-2041, which corresponds to the Repair of 13.8kV Overhead Circuits 1E & 2E with Underground Electrical Infrastructure project on the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois.

This requirement allows for full and open competition.

The corresponding NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors.

It is anticipated that a solicitation will be forthcoming, which will include all the necessary documentation, including a Scope of Work.

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(g), the magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00.

Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this project.

Any interested vendor will be required to have an active Joint Certification Program (JCP) account in order to obtain access to secure documents.

The scope of this project is to provide complete design and construction services for both demolition and new work of the overhead/underground primary electrical infrastructure system, and includes seamless tie-in to affected existing facilities/structures connected to the utility grid circuits "1E" and "2E". Civil and structural features shall be designed and constructed to compliment the depth and breadth of the final Electrical Scope as the project requires. Government Electrical Concept Drawings and Diagrams with demolition and new work will be provided as design guidance.
