Description

Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System is seeking a contractor for Rental services for temporary condensate tank to be installed, adjacent to exsisting condensate inside the boiler plant located at Northern Arizona Healthcare System (NAVAHCS)500 N. Highway 89, Prescott, AZ 86313

Background
The Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS) is seeking a contractor to provide rental services for a temporary condensate tank. This contract aims to replace the existing rental tank currently serving the boiler plant at NAVAHCS, located at 500 N Hwy 89, Prescott, AZ 86313. The goal is to ensure continuous operation of the condensate return system critical for hospital operations.

Work Details
The contractor will supply, install, connect, and commission a complete temporary condensate return system designed for 150 psi and 250 F or pump dead head, whichever is greater. The system must include:
- A temporary 800 - 1,200-gallon ASME rated condensate return tank with a minimum storage capacity for 20 minutes at peak output.
- Duplex condensate pumps capable of handling 100% of system demand with automatic alternation and failure switchover.
- Emergency power for pumps and controls.
- Piping that meets ASME B31.1 standards and includes isolation valves on all branch connections.
- Temporary electrical connections and all necessary components for a complete installation.
- Maintenance responsibilities including preventive and corrective maintenance, emergency repairs, and ensuring the system remains operational and compliant with applicable codes.

Period of Performance
The rental duration is estimated at a minimum of six months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed outdoors adjacent to the existing condensate inside the boiler plant located at Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System, 500 N Hwy 89, Prescott, AZ 86313.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSBC). Bidders must provide evidence of relevant certifications and experience in similar projects.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on the prior emergency acquisition contract 36C26225C0262 awarded to Climate Control Resources for $392,500 (08/08/25–07/31/26). The prior award description indicates it provided a temporary condensate tank, and the current requirement similarly calls for rental services to supply, install, connect, and commission a temporary condensate return system adjacent to the existing boiler plant condensate at NAVAHCS. The overlap in purpose (temporary condensate tank/return system for continued boiler operations) suggests the current effort may be a continuation or replacement of the same type of interim equipment.
