Rental of Mobile Concrete Crushing and Screening System

Background
Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA) operates Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) and is soliciting quotations for the rental of a mobile, two-stage concrete crushing and screening system. The goal of this contract is to process stockpiled, recognizable, uncontaminated BNL-generated concrete into usable recycled concrete aggregate (RCA) at the BNL Borrow Pit in Upton, New York.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a complete, track-mounted crushing and screening system for a thirty (30) consecutive calendar-day rental period. The system must include:
- a primary jaw crushing plant with a nominal feed opening of at least 44 inches by 28 inches, configured for recycled concrete;
- a secondary impact crushing plant with an integrated screen box at least 8’x4’ in size;
- all necessary accessories including conveyors and dust suppression systems.

Key tasks include: delivering both plants to the BNL Borrow Pit; setting up and commissioning the system; providing operator training; offering technical support during the rental period; maintaining equipment in safe operating condition; and removing all equipment after the rental period. The equipment must be capable of producing approximately 200 tons per hour or greater under typical operating conditions.

Period of Performance
Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from successful setup and training completion.

Place of Performance
BNL Borrow Pit, Upton, New York.

Bidder Requirements
Offerors must provide a firm-fixed-price quotation that includes delivery, mobilization, demobilization, setup, training, support, and removal. They must also submit equipment make/model and technical literature demonstrating compliance with the Statement of Work. Additionally, any exceptions or limitations regarding operation must be disclosed.
