Rental Forklifts for 8 MXG in Kunsan Air Base   2

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Government for the provision of rental forklifts at Kunsan Air Base. The mission of this contract is to ensure that the 8th Maintenance Group (8 MXG) has access to necessary equipment for operational efficiency. The goal is to provide qualified personnel, supervision, materials, parts, equipment, tools, and transportation necessary for the rental of vehicles during the specified period.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide rental vehicles as follows:
- Six (6) Class V 6,000 pound/2700 kg capacity forklifts for a duration of 120 days.
- Two (2) Class V 10,000 pound/4,500 kg capacity forklifts for a duration of 120 days.
All vehicles must meet or exceed commercial performance standards and should not be older than 10 years. Vehicles must be cleaned and fully fueled upon delivery. A joint inspection will be conducted at delivery to ascertain vehicle condition. In case of vehicular malfunction, the contractor is responsible for replacement within three days and must perform all necessary maintenance on the vehicles. The contractor will also provide substitute vehicles within five days if any vehicle becomes inoperable through no fault of the driver.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from January 6, 2025, to May 6, 2025.

Place of Performance
All vehicles will be delivered and picked up at Kunsan Air Base, Building 2221, located at 1750-11 Seonyeon-ri, Okseo-myeon Gunsan-si, Jeonbuk-do.
