Description

The Bureau of Reclamation operates and maintains the Tracy Fish Facility (TFCF) located in Byron, CA. The responsibility of the Bureau is to keep the TFCF free of debris and to keep water intakes moving freely. In addition, ensure that floating infestations of weeds, e.g., water hyacinth and hydrilla doesn't restrict water movement, reduce water storage, clog intakes, generators and destroy fish and habitat. To help reduce the debris build up and maintain the fish salvage TFCF requires the rental of the Aquamog PRX-163 during the high season where debris and hyacinth levels are prevalent. The Aquamog PRX-163 is a multi-purpose aquatic vessel that keeps waterways free of debris and floating infested weeds, e.g., water hyacinth and hydrilla.
