Background
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of removing and installing heating boilers at Lackland AFB. The goal of this contract is to replace the existing gas-fired boiler system in Building 10504, which serves as a dormitory facility at Joint Base San Antonio – Lackland, Texas. The facility's HVAC system includes various components that require an energy-efficient, code-compliant boiler to meet long-term heating needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, incidentals, and quality assurance required for the removal and replacement of the existing gas-fired boiler system. Specific tasks include:

1. Removal and Disposal:
- Safely disconnect and remove the existing gas-fired boiler.
- Identify and mark all equipment and systems that are to remain during removal operations.
- Use barriers and protective coverings to prevent damage to adjacent systems.
- Dispose of all removed equipment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

2. Pre-Installation Requirements:
- Conduct a pre-bid site visit for assessment of the existing system.
- Submit manufacturer cut sheets for review prior to work commencement.

3. Furnishing and Installation:
