The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Protective Service (FPS) is soliciting quotes for a project involving the removal and replacement of security Video Surveillance System (VSS) equipment and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) equipment located at the Camden Federal Courthouse and Post Office Buildings, 400 Cooper Street and 401 Market Street, Camden, NJ 08102. (11) Description: Solicitation 70RFP321QE3000001 shall procure the removal and replacement of security Video Surveillance System (VSS) equipment and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) equipment. DHS/FPS intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Commercial Type Purchase Order in response to Request for Quote (RFQ) 70RFP321QE3000001. This requirement is set aside for small business.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation is hereby included.

A complete description of the requirements briefly described herein, to include Statement of Work, terms and conditions, provisions, clauses and associated attachments are all included in the formal Request for Quote (RFQ) 70RFP321QE3000001 attached to this synopsis/solicitation announcement.

The Government will conduct a best value procurement in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 considering price and other factors.

A one-time only site visit to ascertain site conditions will be conducted on 02/04/2021 at 9:00 A.M. ET. Face masks or face coverings are required when in the Federal Buildings. FPS does not supply face masks or face coverings.

Amendment 0001 was attached on February 16, 2021. This amendment serves to answer Vendor questions and revise the Statement of Work (SOW). Each vendor must ensure they acknowledge receipt of this amendment when they submit their quote.
