Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is issuing solicitation N00024-25-R-6304 for the Remote Minehunting (RMH) Module as part of the Program Executive Office Unmanned and Small Combatants (PEO USC) Mine Warfare Program Office (PMS 495). The goal of this contract is to procure the RMH Module, which is designed to detect, classify, and localize various mines. The procurement includes production of the RMH Module, associated engineering support, and spare parts. This solicitation follows a determination that full and open competition procedures are necessary due to the lack of reasonable expectation of obtaining offers from two or more responsible small business concerns.

Work Details
The RMH Module will deploy and retrieve a Tow Body (TB) from the Mine Countermeasures Unmanned Surface Vehicle (MCM USV). The scope includes:
- Production of the RMH Module
- Engineering support
- Spare parts

The Navy has determined that consolidating these requirements into a single contract will improve performance by enhancing configuration control and reducing integration costs. The contractor will be responsible for integrating all RMH Module systems under a unified Statement of Work (SOW), which is expected to streamline processes and accelerate deliveries to meet Fleet MCM deployments in FY29.

Period of Performance
The Government anticipates making a single award in or around August 2026.

Place of Performance
The specific geographic location(s) for delivery or performance have not been detailed in the solicitation.
