Remedial Action Contract to Provide Operations and Maintenance and Long-Term Monitoring Services at Joint Base Cape Cod in Cape Cod, Massachusetts   5

Background
The contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Remediation Services in support of the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) within the geographical boundaries described under this Contract and specifically at Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) in Massachusetts. The services provided under this Contract will be specified in subsequently issued Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) task orders for a wide range of environmental services at various known or suspected Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste (HTRW) sites, and Munitions and Explosives of Concern (MEC) sites.

Work Details
The Contractor will be responsible for a wide range of environmental services including project work plans, safety plans, quality control plans, operation and maintenance of groundwater treatment facilities, long-term monitoring of groundwater, chemical analysis, sampling and sample handling techniques, laboratory analysis, data reporting, exploratory soil drilling and well installation, aquifer hydraulic monitoring, evaluation of response actions, MEC clearance supporting soil sampling, compliance support, participation in community education and public involvement, expert testimony, future project scheduling.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment to perform all work identified in each task order. The Contractor may be required to perform work under multiple task orders at different sites simultaneously.

Period of Performance
The contract duration shall not exceed the 5 year ordering period.

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed is specifically at Joint Base Cape Cod (JBCC) in Massachusetts.
