Remanufacture of TF-33 Low and High-Speed Compressor Stators - MAC IDIQ   2

Background
The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is planning to procure the remanufacture of TF33 Stators and Shrouds for a 5-year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC). The goal of this contract is to ensure that the TF33 Stators (Vanes & Shrouds) are remanufactured to meet Air Force requirements and restore them as closely as possible to their original life expectancy.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and remanufacture of TF33 Stators (Vanes & Shrouds). Key requirements include:
- All materials for remanufacturing processes must be provided by the contractor, except for furnished modules sent for remanufacture.
- A visual inspection upon receipt of each incoming TF33 Stator must be performed in accordance with T.O. 2J-TF33-53-6.
- Nonconforming items must be reported within 30 days after receipt.
- Remanufacturing procedures must comply with T.O. 2J-TF33-53 series Technical Orders and FAA Airworthiness Directives.
- New replacement vanes must come from government-approved sources. An Initial Product Evaluation (IPE) is required if the contractor has not previously remanufactured this component.
- Specific remanufacturing procedures include stripping Nickel-Cadmium plating, prohibiting silver braze for N2 Stators, and ensuring all vane airfoils meet surface finish requirements of 35AA or smoother on 85% of the airfoil.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a basic period of performance of 2 years with 3 one-year options.

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place at the contractor's facility, with deliveries made to Tinker Air Force Base.
