Religious Support Services for Fort Liberty, North Carolina

Background
This is a non-personal services contract to provide qualified Musicians, a Catholic Religious Education Coordinator, a Protestant Religious Education Coordinator, a Catholic Community Pastoral Associate Coordinator, and Youth Ministry Coordinators to perform at chapel services and special services and coordinate ministries with expertise in order to meet mission requirements of Fort Liberty Religious Support Office. The RSO has a requirement to provide Religious Services for the Fort Liberty Religious Community. The services include providing Musicians for scheduled and special Chapel Services conducted on Fort Liberty at the various chapels. The mission and ministry of the chaplaincy is supported, extended and enhanced by other religious ministry personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide on-site Regular Worship Service and Regular Worship Rehearsals, Special Worship Service and Special Worship Rehearsals. Musicians shall communicate with the chaplains, worship leaders, and other musicians conducting the service to ensure that all musical selections are in keeping with the theme of worship service.
Catholic REC shall provide annual Roman Catholic Religious Education (RCRE) plan and calendar, maintain databases for all enrolled students, catechists, and volunteers, coordinate weekly RCRE classes, submit attendance report to the DRE, coordinate all the DRE-directed events.
Protestant REC shall maintain annual event calendar, databases for all enrolled students, teachers, and volunteers; coordinate Protestant RE and Sunday School Program; coordinate VBS and AWANA; coordinate Volunteer and School Appreciation Events; recruit, and manage Volunteers.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one (1) base period of eight months with four option years. The PoP consists of 4 years and 8 months. The PoP is as follows: Phase-in/out Period: N/A; Base Period: 11 November 2023 – 10 July 2024; Option Period I: 11 July 2024 – 10 July 2025; Option Period II: 11 July 2025 – 10 July 2026; Option Period III: 11 July 2026 – 10 July 2027; Option Period IV: 11 July 2027 – 10 July 2028.

Place of Performance
The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at applicable Fort Liberty RSO chapels/facilities. Contractor shall remain flexible in case place of performance has changed. Musicians may be required to move chapel location within Fort Liberty Religious Support footprint upon notification of COR and Chapel Senior Pastor.
