*Reissuance* WAPA SNR ROW Mastication and Tree Work

The work includes vegetation management services consisting of ROW mastication, tree trimming, tree removal, brushing and the chemical treatment of incompatible vegetation along or in the vicinity of the transmission line rights-of-way. Requirements and measurements will be set forth in individual BPA Calls. Special consideration such as sag and sway design parameters, as well as those trees that are tall enough to fall towards the line and potentially draw an electrical arc, shall be considered. Vegetation removal requirements will range from mechanical and/or hand felling in dense overgrowth conditions, to individual tree felling in residential or commercially developed areas. Tree sizes will range from less than 5" diameter at breast height (DBH) to trees several feet DBH. A full range of native and non-native vegetation species, vegetation health, and vegetation growth conditions will be routinely encountered. ***Amendment 0001*** The purpose of this Amendment is the following: 1) Post Site Visit Attendees 2) To allow for more than one BPA awardee. Venders may choose to quote only one or both projects but must quote general GSA BPA rates on the Pricing Schedule. Each project will be evaluated against criteria set forth in 52.212-2 found in the SF 1449 Solicitation document. The Govt. will however, reserve the right to award a BPA and subsequent projects to only one GSA Vendor if it is in the Govt. best interests. 3) Make a change to MLN-RDM PWS page 2 Section 2. to read "The Right-of-Way (ROW) for the Malin Round Mountain (MLN-RDM) 500-kV transmission line is approximately 175 feet wide." 4) Add MLN-RDM Project Biological Review information as Solicitation Attachment 13. 5) Allow Quoters to use alternate Pricing Schedules for specific projects that may more accurately reflect means and methods. 6) Extend Quotation due date to 30 August 2022 at 2pm EST. See attached Performance Work Statement and accompanying Solicitation 89503322QWA000157 for specific work to be performed and method of evaluation under FAR 52.212-2. There are a total of three (3) pricing schedules contained in Attachment B of the solicitation that will be required for evaluation, two of which are project specific. The Government reserves the right to award Calls based on the quoted pricing received in response to this solicitation.
