Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic Division is issuing this solicitation for Regional Armed Security Guard Services. The contract aims to provide security services at various military installations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including:
- Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia;
- Naval Support Activity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania;
- Lafayette River Complex in Norfolk, Virginia;
- Craney Island Fuel Terminal in Portsmouth, Virginia;
- USS Constitution in Boston, Massachusetts;
- Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck, New Jersey.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of these critical facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing armed security guard services at the specified locations. Key tasks include:
1. Conducting regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
2. Monitoring access control points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facilities.
3. Responding to alarms and incidents, providing immediate assistance as required.
4. Maintaining detailed logs of daily activities and incidents for reporting purposes.
5. Collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
6. Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to security operations.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be one year with options for additional years based on performance evaluations and funding availability.
