Background
The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is issuing this solicitation for refuse services to support the Kayenta Community School. This contract is set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) vendors, emphasizing the agency's commitment to supporting indigenous businesses.

The goal of this contract is to provide reliable refuse collection services to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the school facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will provide refuse pick-up services for the Kayenta Boarding School and its quarters. Specific tasks include:
1. Monthly pick-up service for a 40-CY compactor located at the Kayenta Boarding School campus, where custodians will dispose of refuse daily from classrooms, offices, kitchens, dormitories, and other departments into the compactor.
2. Monthly pick-up service for refuse collected from the quarters area, where facility management staff will dispose of refuse into the same compactor twice a week.
3. Service hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no service will occur on holidays or weekends.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. There are options for additional years extending through December 31, 2029.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the BIE Kayenta Community School located at 1000 Main Street - BIE, Kayenta, Arizona, 86033.
