Refuse Service: Nmnn Shiprock   2

Background
The Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) is issuing this solicitation for refuse services to support its mission of providing quality education to Native American students. The contract aims to ensure proper waste management at various BIE facilities located in New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, specifically targeting schools and administrative offices within the Navajo Nation.

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for the collection and off-site disposal of solid waste generated at the following locations:

- Shiprock Agency Headquarters
- Aneth Community School
- Beclabito Day School
- Nenahnezad Community School
- Red Rock Day School
- Sanostee Day School
- T'iisnazbas Community School.

Specific tasks include:
1. Provide a solid waste removal schedule approved by BIE.
2. Supply all labor and trucks for waste collection.
3. Maintain trash bins with operational lids to prevent spillage and animal scavenging.
4. Remove domestic waste and recycle cardboard from designated areas.
5. Ensure that all waste is taken to an EPA-approved landfill.
6. Report any unsafe conditions or property damages during service.
7. Invoice monthly for services rendered.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at multiple locations including:
1. Shiprock Headquarters - Shiprock, NM
2. Aneth Community School - Montezuma Creek, UT
3. Beclabito Day School - Shiprock, NM
4. Nenahnezad Community School - Fruitland, NM
5. Red Rock Day School - Red Valley, AZ
6. Sanostee Day School - Sanostee, NM
7. T'iisnazbas Community School - Teec Nos Pos, AZ.
