Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army for refuse collection and recycling services in support of the 99th Readiness Division (RD). The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean, environmentally safe workplace free of debris and pests, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain operational readiness and environmental standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, fuel, and other non-personal services necessary for refuse collection and recycling services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services include:
- Collection and disposal of refuse from all contractor-provided containers as detailed in the site plan.
- Maintenance of effective quality control to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management.
- Conducting operations between 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.
- Maintaining an adequate workforce for uninterrupted service during operational hours.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period consisting of one 12-month base year with four additional 12-month option years.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the Lieber US Army Reserve Center located at 6901 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22310.
