Description

This contract requires services for collection and disposal of refuse from Contractor-furnished collection containers at Forest Service recreation sites and administrative sites on the North Umpqua and Diamond Lake Ranger Districts of the Umpqua National Forest, Douglas County Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to collect and disposal of refuse.

The majority of the sites are public day-use and overnight-use areas, such as picnic areas and campgrounds. Sites also include access and parking areas for hiking, fishing, boating, and other recreational activities. Some of the recreation sites are near other commercial facilities heavily used by the public. Several sites are administrative-use facilities for agency employees and volunteers.

These services are required throughout the heavy-use recreation season, which is generally limited to the period of late-April through October of each year.
