Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic Division is issuing this solicitation for refuse collection, disposal, and recycling services at multiple locations in Maine, including Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, NSA Cutler, SERE School, Rangeley, NSA Prospect Harbor, and Great Pond Outdoor Adventure Center.

The goal of this contract is to ensure efficient waste management services that meet the operational needs of these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing refuse collection, disposal, and recycling services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Key tasks include:
1. Regular collection of refuse from designated locations;
2. Proper disposal of collected waste in compliance with local regulations;
3. Implementation of recycling programs to minimize waste;
4. Monthly reporting on waste quantities and recycling rates;
5. Coordination with facility management for service schedules and special events;
6. Compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during service delivery.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a base year with options for up to four additional years, allowing for recurring and non-recurring work as needed.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, NSA Cutler, SERE School, Rangeley, NSA Prospect Harbor, and Great Pond Outdoor Adventure Center in Maine.
