Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 4, is issuing a Sole Source Justification for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Bayer Healthcare, LLC. The agency's mission is to provide high-quality healthcare services to veterans. The goal of this contract is to ensure the continued reliability and optimal performance of Medrad injectors across multiple medical centers, including Altoona, Coatesville, Erie, Lebanon, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes-Barre.

Work Details
Bayer will provide all necessary labor, parts, and materials for both planned and corrective maintenance of Medrad injectors. All maintenance will be performed by Bayer-certified technicians using only OEM-certified components to guarantee adherence to the equipment's proprietary design specifications.

The following items are included in the maintenance program:
- Altoona VAMC: MRXperion MR Injection System SN 300487; Stellant D CT Injection System SN 300309
- Coatesville VAMC: MRXperion MR Injection System SN 313523; Stellant D CT Injection System SN 28926
- Erie VAMC: Stellant Flex CT Injection System SN 100207
- Lebanon VAMC: MRXperion MR Injection System
- Pittsburgh VAMC: Multiple Mark 7 Arterion Angiography Injection Systems and Stellant Flex CT Injection Systems with various serial numbers
- Wilkes Barre: Multiple Mark 7 Arterion Angiography Injection Systems and Stellant Flex CT Injection Systems with various serial numbers. All services will follow the Engineered Predictive Maintenance (EPM) program.

Period of Performance
The contract is set to begin on November 15, 2024, and will span a total of three years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations including Altoona, Coatesville, Erie, Lebanon, Pittsburgh, and Wilkes-Barre Medical Centers.
