This action is a follow-on order to GSA schedule 70RDAD21A00000012 Task Order 70B01C23F00000067. Task Order 70B01C23F00000067 was competitively awarded on 15 December 2022 by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). On 28 March 2025, the Secretary of Defense approved the transfer of the DHS contract requirements to the Department of the Army. The Army subsequently assumed control and management of this requirement with the exception of transportation, medical, and guard services. The existing DHS contract expired on 29 March 2025. The urgent and compelling need for these services necessitated a rapid sole source award, under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(A), to Deployed Resources, LLC within 48 hours of the transfer of the requirement to the Department of the Army.
