Background
The General Supply and Services (GSS) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) to procure a total of 55 Red Hill Mobility Solar Fleet Kits for the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV).

The purpose of this procurement is to enhance mission readiness by ensuring fleet batteries remain charged and operational, thereby reducing man hours previously allocated to battery replacement and offering cost-saving advantages by decreasing annual expenditures on batteries.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of 55 units of the Red Hill Mobility Solar Fleet Kit for FMTV, part number RHSOL-FMTV or equal.

The salient characteristics include:
- Designed to enhance mission readiness.
- Automatic dual voltage (12/24vdc) with 48vdc, 25-50 watt flexible mono-crystalline solar panels.
- Each kit includes:
- Two 25W flexible mono-crystalline PV panels with top-mounted cable connections and 50" leads.
- Two optimized Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Charge Controllers.
- Two Plug & Play Wiring Harnesses with 48" length extension cables.
- Two 111" PV extension cables with Conxall Connectors.
- Two Canadus Battery Reconditioners with patented pulsing desulfation technology.
- Size specifications: 24" x 24" x 4".
- Packaging requirements include marking each item permanently with the manufacturer's part number, name or identifying symbol, and country of origin. Each package must be labeled with the requisition number or Transportation Control Number (TCN).

Delivery locations include Fort Lewis, WA; Fort Liberty, NC; and Wheeler Army Airfield, HI.
