Recovery - United States On-Orbit Segment Phase II Development of International Space Station Common Docking Adapter   3

THIS OPPORTUNITY ISAVAILABLE ONLY TO THE BOEING COMPANY UNDER THE UNITED STATES ON-ORBIT SEGMENT (USOS)ACCEPTANCE AND VEHICLE SUSTAINING ENGINEERING CONTRACT, NAS 15-10000.NASA/JSC is applying funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 towork on Phase II development of the International Space Station (ISS) Common DockingAdapter (CDA) for the USOS. The CDA assembly concept includes three major components:(1) Common Passive Docking Interface (CPDI), (2) Tunnel, and (3) Passive Common BerthingMechanism (PCBM). A CPDI shall be compatible with docking interfaces of ConstellationProgram Orion and European Space Agency Advanced Re-entry Vehicle visiting vehicles beingdeveloped for docking to the USOS.NASA/JSC intends to award a Change Order to The Boeing Company under the USOS Acceptanceand Vehicle Sustaining Engineering Contract, NAS 15-10000.
